It’s probably also a good time to thank you for all the help and straightforward advice you have given Pauline and I over the years, especially in the last couple of years which have been a bit of a challenge to say the least. Despite the stock-market roller coaster, we seem to have come out the other end relatively unscathed and in fact have enjoyed much better than expected profits. This is undoubtedly due entirely to all your hard work and shrewd planning, providing us with a sensible package of investments which is tailored to meet our needs. Also, all the small things that matter which often go unmentioned, like just being able to pick up the phone and speak to you, or, where you are unavailable, knowing you’ll get straight back to us. I know things must be pretty tough in the world of finance just now, but I just wanted to let you know your efforts are very much appreciated. Things may not always go the way we want, but it’s good to know our savings are being handled by someone we can trust.
